This year’s International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI) European Chapter seminar took place on 16–18 November in Budapest. IPMI is one of the world’s most respected organizations dedicated to advancing knowledge, best practices, and collaboration across the precious metals industry.

The 3-day event brought together more than 210 participants, ranging from sales professionals and metal traders to general managers and CEOs.

On the final day, Elmery’s Sales Director Kim Kavander delivered a presentation titled Recovery Redefined: Capturing the Last ppm of PGMs. The talk introduced the audience to the evolution of electrowinning and highlighted how recent advancements in EDRR technology are enabling major breakthroughs in selective precious metal recovery.

With strong interest from across the sector, Elmery remains committed to driving innovation and supporting more efficient, selective, and sustainable precious metal processes. As EDRR continues to gain traction, Elmery is excited to bring selective recovery to more operations worldwide.

We thank everyone who joined the discussion in Budapest and look forward to building new partnerships throughout the coming year.
