The International Process Metallurgy Symposium (IPMS) is one of the most anticipated gatherings in the field, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss the latest innovations in process metallurgy. Organized every two years, the 2025 edition marked the 6th time the symposium has been held — and Elmery was proud to be part of it.

This year, Elmery’s CTO, Petteri Halli, presented at the symposium. His talk introduced Elmery’s approach to selective metal recovery from industrial process streams, highlighting how our technology enables chemical-free, precise, and energy-efficient recovery of valuable metals, as well as the removal of impurities to improve overall process performance.

Petteri’s presentation sparked valuable discussions with academics and industry representatives alike, underscoring the growing interest in sustainable metallurgy and the need for new solutions to utilize critical raw materials more efficiently.

Attending IPMS also offered Elmery an opportunity to connect with potential partners, stay up-to-date with current research trends, and contribute to the broader conversation around the future of process metallurgy.

We look forward to continuing the dialogue and shaping a more sustainable metals industry together.
